Enjoy a swim at Jungle Beach, a secluded stretch of sand with gentle, calm waters. To access the beach, you need to drive or hike up to the Peace Pagoda, then climb down the steps through the jungle vegetation, meaning the beach remains less crowded than its nearby counterparts. Pick a sunbed near the beach bar, sunbathe, and have a refreshing drink, or drift further away to a quieter, more deserted part of the beach for some rest and relaxation. • Really nice natural beach. About 20 minute walk from central Unawatuna through the forest. Less commercialised then the other beaches.  more »
  • Nice beach for a sea bath. You need to park the vehicle and move little bit . But it is worth the travel.  more »

  • Beautiful and small beach, but it's crowded and polluted:(
  • Amazing hidden place, you have to walk down about 10-15 minutes between so many cute monkeys, they are harmless . There is a tinny beach bar and sea food restaurant with facilities. Very friendly local people.
