You can drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In July in Abu Dhabi, expect temperatures between 50°C during the day and 37°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
